Awards

A prize was awarded for the best talk and the best poster presented by students and young scientists below the age of 30.

The committee awarded the prizes to:

• Best oral presentation: Robert Sansom (University of Leicester)
• Best poster: Fangchen Zhao (Nanjing State Key Laboratory of Palaeobiology and Stratigraphy)

Thanks to the generous support of the Palaeontological Association, the Paleontological Society, and the Palaeontology Division of the Geological Association of Canada, travel grants of $600.00 (CAD) were presented to the first 15 pre-registered students whose presentation (oral or poster) was accepted.

Abstracts were reviewed by a selection committee, and ranked based on research merit.
